Expanding our Aluminium Fabrication Services – New 6kW Laser Cutter Investment

As part of Universal’s commitment to offering fast track prototyping and scalable manufacturing to its customers, we are proud to announce we have invested in another 6kw Laser Cutter. This state-of-the-art Amada machine takes advantage of the latest ECO technology and compliments our other laser cutting and punching machines.

The new Amada Ensis 4020 AJ fibre laser will be dedicated to those customers who take advantage of our Aluminium cut parts, welded parts and fabrications.

Cutting Capabilities of the Amada Ensis 4020 AJ

It can cut sheet sizes up to 4070mm x 2050mm, 25mm thickness and with a positional accuracy +/- 0.01 mm. With the additional investment of an automatic sheet loader, it benefits from being able to run continuously throughout the night. This is especially important for high volume production runs and when our customers need fast tracked delivery times.

Whilst this particular machine is being used for our Aluminium fabrication work, we cut, bend, weld and fabricate all metal based materials for our customers.

If you, have you a metal-based product you are looking to prototype or have an existing product you are looking to scale, get in touch as we would be glad to support you.
