Sheet Metal Work for the Automotive Industry

For over 40 years Universal has been significantly supporting the Automotive industry with technical expertise, vehicle based parts and plant support equipment.

In 2023 / 2024 this includes:

  • Designed and Manufactured paint line tooling for automated paint lines for Nissan, Stellantis brands and BMW, including paint slave tooling, carrier systems and paint fixtures.
  • Designed, Fabricated and Installed 6700 BMW engine frame stillages for the new Hamms Hall Engine Storage Facility.
  • Manufactured Precision Machined parts for Lotus.
  • Fabricated 20  3.5 Tonne Autonomous vehicle chassis for Ree Automotive whilst supporting  Williams Advanced Engineering with the design.
