At Universal Fabrications we pride ourselves on delivering successful fabrication and machining projects for our customers. We fully understand the time critical nature of our customer’s requirements and the industry governance in which they work. As such we ensure each and every project is resourced with suitably qualified people who have the experience and empowerment to make it happen. Our track record is one of delivery which is why we are a trusted partner to our customers who themselves are leaders in their field.
Technical Experience
Our project teams are formed by Engineering Project Managers who are experienced in managing individual projects and production work in excess of £3m.
Our approach is one of APQP coupled with Lean Manufacturing techniques and a ‘Can Do’ attitude. Technically they are complimented by Design Leads who actively work with customers to enhance manufacturing designs, reducing material and production costs.
Qualifications and Accreditations
We have ISO9001 accreditation and operate to BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding standard alongside BS EN ISO 15613, BS EN ISO 9606-1, BS EN ISO 9606-2, AWS D17.1m (Class B), BS EN287-1. Our coded welding is UKAS accredited through Zurich Laboratory testing.
From a Quality Assurance perspective our Quality Manager, Quality Engineers and Inspectors collaborate to ensure suitable governance exists, reducing risk to achieve compliance. This includes PPAP, Chain of Custody, Certificates of Conformity and other associated controlled documentation.
