Undertaking Works whilst Keeping the Public Safe

As an experienced welding company, we recognise that keeping people safe whilst we work is our number one priority. To ensure the safety of the public while conducting welding activities, we implement a number of safety measures:

  • We set up barriers, safety tape, and clear warning signs around the welding area to prevent unauthorised access.
  • Safety screens are used to shield the public from welding sparks, arc light, and debris.
  • In areas with high foot traffic, we deploy spotters or stewards to help manage public movement around the work zone.
  • We also secure our tools and equipment when not in use to ensure they are not tampered with and to prevent potential hazards.

Customer On-Site Welding

Minimising Disruption to your Site

As we understand our customers need to carry on their business-as-usual activities whilst we are working, we take several steps to minimise the operational impact of our attendance. As part of this, we coordinate with site management to schedule welding work during times that cause the least disruption to customer activities, such as during non-peak hours. Whilst on site we agree designated routes are used for the transporting of equipment, this helps avoid pathways or frequently used areas being blocked. Additionally, as we recognise customer activities can be subject to change we ensure our people maintain regular communication prior and during site attendance, this way we are best placed to support you.

Ensuring our Quality of Work

To ensure all of our work is thoroughly inspected and validated we follow a stringent quality process overseen by our Welding Coordinators and Service Team.

  • All of our welding work is carried out by fully qualified welders who meet the standards of BS EN ISO 9606-1. This means our welders are certified for fusion welding of steel and have passed the necessary qualification tests to ensure their competence.
  • Prior to leaving the site, we seek approval a nominated approver from your team will inspect and approve the work completed.
  • We will produce an Industry Leading Confirmation of Works Report, which includes details of the work performed, quality checks, and any deviations from the original plan.
  • This report will be made electronically available upon completion of the work and serves as the official sign-off for the on-site welding activities. This documentation ensures transparency and provides a record of the completed work.
